A couple of years ago I knew I was ready to propose to Amanda. 

But I didn’t want it to be another standard, basic proposal. I wanted to create a moment that would Amanda would remember forever, something our kids will be telling their kids about.

For months I was meditating, asking god how I was going to execute the greatest proposal all time, and I was getting no clarity. 

Untill last summer when I was hanging with some friends in Muskoka and BOOM, the idea came through. 

What if I organized a private show with Amanda’s favorite artist..

My mind couldn’t comprehend Amanda’s reaction, or how I would make it happen. But I knew it would be saudade moment, and that’s how I knew this was it.

It took 8 months of planning to turn this thought into a reality.

Massive gratitude to for making this a moment we will never forget (she even wrote a song just for us that she played after Amanda said yes).

I didn’t know it was possible to experience the level of joy, love, and ecstasy that this moment brought up in us. The high lasted for days.

One of the reason I believe Amanda and I have stayed so strong over the last 10 years is because we didn’t rush our relationship. We allowed it to naturally unfold, that means trusting our timeline regardless of when anyone else thinks is the right time to get married or have kids.
