I’m getting over my fear of being “seen” and I am taking you on my journey.
About 10 years ago I started growing this fear of being seen. Of going out and people looking at me.
My self-confidence and self-esteem took a hit and I was getting paralyzing anxiety around going to new places. Fear of parking. Fear of walking into a new place. Fear of making a fool of myself.
Perimenopause set in, I was fighting an auto-immune disease and I just didn’t know my own body anymore. And it all impacted my anxiety.
I started missing out on life.
I stayed in the comfort of my home, behind my computer screen.
And now, I am ready to release this fear.
So I am embarking on a new journey and YOU are going to come with me and hold me accountable.
Each Wednesday or Thursday, I am going to get dressed in “going out clothes” (bye bye yoga pants!) and venture out to new places around Austin.
I’m going to try new coffee shops, new parks, new museums. And I will document it here.
I am coaching myself right now. I am proving that my fear is not something to settle into, it’s something to look straight in the face and tell it it’s ridiculous!
So here we go. Today, I am starting with finding a few coffeeshops that are my style, welcoming, and are great for hot teas and writing.
I started with the Capital One Cafe at the Domain. This is an awkward picture I took as proof (though I always feel weird taking selfies in public. I am sure the very sophisticated woman next to me rolled her eyes at me. LOL!)
*this coffee shop was meh. Great for parking. Tea selection was boring. The amount of tables to work was great, but the atmosphere for working was very bank-ish. (very tech-y crowd)
Thanks for following along. Join me next week where I return to the coffeeshop where things got awkward!

It’s my Birthday!!🎉 I turn 46 today and what a celebration.
I’m not one to dwell on the past, what’s done is done. I made the best choices for who I was in that moment in time and they shaped me.
But, this year, I’m reflecting on the past decade and who I’ve become, the evolution I went through and the transformations that got me here.
46 vs. 36.
What a wild ride.
I share it on on this week’s The Fearless Female Entrepreneur Podcast episode, but I’m sharing a sneak peak in this post.
So, scroll through and learn my top milestones and lessons from the past decade.
Then reflect on your past decade and let me know in the comments your greatest lesson and how you’ve changed along the way!

I may not be Madam Leota (IYKYK), but I do have some predictions that I believe are going to be relevant (and freeing) to women who are starting and growing dream businesses and lifestyles in the next few years.
I’ve been a life and business coach in the world (and online world) before the coaching business and online businesses went “viral”. I’ve seen the positive and the icky trends come and go, (some over-staying their welcome), and now start to fade away.
I think the new trends that are replacing them are gentler, and lead with integrity and authenticity.
Here are my 3 predictions about what women in business (and you) are going to want more of (and less of) in the coming years. What your soul will be craving.
Scroll through to read my predictions, then let me know in the comments your thoughts.
(Btw: wouldn’t it be cool to have a crystal ball? I guess I can settle with a magic 8 ball for now!)

I did a thing….I made a dream come true.
Back in July 2024, I launched something that I had on my heart for years.
I wanted to go back to writing. I wanted a Magazine type blog with curated articles. I wanted each month to have a theme all geared towards helping you create a life and business/career full of joy, confidence, excitement, passion, and peace.
So I created THE JOURNAL. Each month I curate new articles that will give you snippets of inspiration, tips, resources, and guidance.
These articles are meant to help you move the needle forward, feel organized and motivated, and to build your confidence.
There is no better feeling than bringing your dream into reality. Is it perfect? Am I as consistent as I’d like? No.
Am I allowing my writing to be as free and unfiltered as I dream of? Not yet.
But it’s here.
There have been 6 issues so far covering a range of topics - mindset, confidence, leading yourself, business.
Scroll through to see a snapshot of the recent issues.
You can also read THE JOURNAL by going to my bio or DM me your email address and I’ll add you to the list when next issues drop!

🔥WHAT DO YOU WANT?🔥
Ok, seriously, when did you truly ask yourself this question. No what your think you should want, not what others think you should want - what do You want?
I mean asking yourself with the passion that Noah asked Allie in The Notebook!
So many times we either don’t ask ourselves this question, or we quickly talk ourselves out of it because we don’t think it’s possible or have some line-up of excuses.
Scroll through and learn the formula for truly having what you want - not matter what it is - career, relationship, a business, a move, more money, new hobbies, new car.
Save this post and come back to it every month to remind yourself to grab a pen and journal and start reflecting on what you honestly want right now in your life.
(And follow along here where I’ll share valuable tips on taking action and making important shifts to get there!)

My clients didn’t necessarily expect big, dramatic shifts to happen when going out after their goals and dreams. They took action, did the work, but then what they experienced felt like traumatic experiences, and roadblocks.
They were really the roadmap to where they desire to be and what they desired for their life. They were opportunities in the making.
Scroll through and see the list of unexpected experiences my clients had to go through and work through in order to finally create the life they desired.
Sometimes, in order to have what you want, you need to release what your life currently looks like, and what no longer fits.
Things need to change. Hard choices need to be made.
But it’s worth it in the end.
There’s a bridge that takes you from where you are now to where you desire to go and sometimes it takes you on a wild uncomfortable ride. But you ultimately get there.
I am opening up FOUR free 30 minute accountability calls this month. If you are working towards a big life goal but need a roadmap and accountability to get there? Book a call and let’s chat. We’ll discuss next steps for you and how to get the accountability and support you need.

I’ve been a coach for 9 years and it breaks my heart to hear people talk about not having the time, feeling overwhelmed, not believing they can make changes or go after their dream, that they don’t have what it takes or that it’s not meant for them.
We have been conditioned to believe that making changes in our lives, doing something different means making these drastic changes, that it has to happen overnight, that big transformations have to happen all at once.
But, let’s be honest, nothing happens like that.
Everything shifts and changes slowly. You didn’t graduate college and then become CEO of a Fortune 500 company the next day. You didn’t get your driver’s permit and start cruising the highways the next day. You didn’t start your first job and have a million dollars in the bank the next day. You didn’t meet your significant other and get married the next day (or maybe you did and if so, CONGRATS! That’s amazing!)
Realistically, there were countless baby steps, new habits, comfort zones, and skills you had to embody and learn.
Same goes for ANY goal you have right now in your life.
Scroll through to see what it really takes to start to go from where you want now to that next level goal and dream you desire.
Then, think about what ONE thing you can intentionally commit to doing each day that will bring you closer to that goal. Share with us what you are committed to this year. What are you creating in your life?

Ok, here we are 8 weeks into 2025.
Yep, it sure does feel like it’s been 6 months since the New Year!
Let’s be honest, the world is a bit wackadoodle, life is “life-ing,” and time is flying by, but that doesn’t mean magic isn’t happening.
No matter how you are feeling about where you are when it comes to your goals, a little self-reflection and recommitment can always get you back on track!
So no matter if you are working away making your dream happen, or you lost motivation, or found a few “plot twists” along the way, let’s stop the Instagram scroll for a moment and do a check-in and reconnect to what you’d like to achieve in 2025:
✨How are you feeling about your intentions/resolutions/goals for this year?
✨Have you started taking action?
✨What are 1-3 aligned habits that you intentionally want to commit to each day?
Share what habits and goals you are recommitting to starting today in the comments!

Remember when “Great at multi-tasking” was a badge of honor to include on your resume?
LOL! Yeah. I know. Who knew that wasn’t the braggable skill you thought it was.
Ever ask yourself how efficient and successful you are at being productive when multi-tasking?
Are you truly giving your best when you are trying to accomplish so many things at once?
You’re not.
And that’s ok.
It’s the same thing with going out after your big 2025 life and business goals and dreams.
If you are trying to make a bunch of big changes and life transformations all at once, you will find yourself getting overwhelmed and back in the same comfortable routines.
Here’s my tip for you:
✨Focus on 1-3 goals that are going to have the BIGGEST impact
✨Identify 1 new habit that aligns with the goal and commit to being intentional about setting aside time each day to incorporate in that habit.
✨Choose a few foundational success habits that will provide fuel for your progress: daily mindset routines, moving your body everyday, time-blocking your day, connecting new people that support your goals, reflect on your progress each week, creating a 90 day plan, intentional learning.
Going after big dreams means you have to change not only the tangible external reality, but who you are - your inner wiring. You have to build confidence doing new things.
If you try to do too many uncomfortable new habits, you’ll struggle to stay motivated and consistent.
Just know, small consistent and aligned step will have the BIGGEST impact on achieving the goals and vision you desire.
What habits are you committing to this quarter to align to your 2025 dreams? Send me a message and let me know and we’ll hold each other accountable.
