ASU-designed C-Turtle robot teaches itself to get around
Drawing inspiration from biology, a a pair of ASU roboticists and a band of doctoral students have designed a robot that learns how to navigate different types of terrain, called C-Turtle. The project was an exercise in developmental robotics, where you build robots to test hypotheses.

We just launched our fall studios! For students in grades 2-8, we are featuring Code Fundamentals, Code Kitchen, and an Advanced Python Synthesis Studio. Just a few more spots left for our kids summer workshop this Friday 9:30-11:00am. Our older group will be cracking code as they play with Python to unlock a puzzle. The others will be combining circuitry and Scratch to create a band! Fun for grades 2-4 & 5-8!

Fridays are for fun! Registration for the kid's workshop from 9:30-11:00am is now open. Grades 5-8 will be using Raspberry Pi microcomputers to create in Python. Grades 2-4 will engage in unplugged activities focusing on programming fundamentals, finishing up with a hands-on coding project.
