Our Evaluation Contest was a great success! Reba Bassett and Tee Truong presented outstanding evaluations on a speech given by our Distinguished Guest Speaker, Wafae Owen.

We had great meetings during the holidays. Missing a few members in person during this meeting, however they were able to attend our meeting through ZOOM! This President's Distinguished hybrid Club is looking forward to great accomplishments in 2026!

Reba Bassett gives one of her great speeches. Every week our Toastmasters members provide a wonderful atmosphere for learning and enhancing our speaking skills. Powerful speeches each week add to our growth and development.

Exchange Park Toastmasters members Raymond Borrega was Contest Chair and John Swyers was Chief Judge for AREA J63 Tall Tales and International Contest on Tuesday, March 4 at the North Village Library. We had wonderful contestants who kept the audience's attention as they competed with amazing speeches.
Tall Tales winner was Daniel Cianci and International Speech winner was Joseph Todd. Our Division J Director, Neschelle Stone presented the awards to the winners. Congratulations to all who participated!

We are so excited to welcome our newest member, Chelsea Watabe to Exchange Park Toastmasters Club. She was also our Table Topics winner at our meeting last Tuesday. Join us tomorrow for this week's meeting.

DISTRICT 55 SCORES TWO FIRSTS IN TOASTMASTERS INTERNATIONAL HISTORY!
As we celebrate Luisa Montalvo’s winning the “World Championship in Public Speaking”, I sit back and think, District 55 and the state of TEXAS has “TWO FIRSTS” in Toastmasters International.”

Dr. Ernestine (Tina) Balderrama Kubicek, DTM was the “First Woman Toastmaster Under a Woman’s Name” in 1973 which also made her the first Latina in Toastmasters International. Luisa is the first Latina to become World Champion of Public Speaking.

Join us in meetings from anywhere in the country or world through ZOOM! We have several members that join us from other states through ZOOM. This week, longtime member Bryan Uecker joined us from Michigan. We look forward to seeing him in person at next Tuesday's meeting!
