🎥Created by students. Inspired by their experience. Our High School students put this video together to share what they love most about Magellan - and why they chose this path. See what a globally-focused, future-ready high school can look like. Now enrolling for Grades 9-11.

Geometry is more than formulas and proofs, it can also be an art form! Recently, students transformed mathematical concepts into original tessellation artwork, blending precision, creativity, and design thinking into stunning visual displays now in our hallways. The result? A beautiful reminder that math and art are more connected than you might think!
Don’t miss the boat! A few Preschool spots still remain for the fall! Drop in on June 18 between 9:30 and 11:00 am for more info and a tour 👍
The name Bernie Taupin should ring a bell to anyone who is an Elton John fan. Check out this shoutout from the legendary songwriter to our MYP music students who covered the hit “I’m still standing” at last night’s Celebration of the Arts!
Thanks to Magellan parent and CEO of PBR, JJ Gottsch, for arranging this chef’s kiss surprise!

Today, 17 graduating seniors returned to reconnect with the community that helped shape them. 💚🐊
Dressed in caps and gowns adorned with honor cords, medals, and symbols of their many accomplishments, the seniors walked the halls as students and teachers lined the corridors with cheers, applause, hugs, and emotional reunions.
For many, this was their first time on Magellan’s Bull Creek campus. Back when they were middle schoolers, classes were held on the second floor of an office building next to our Anderson Lane campus, a reminder of just how much both these students and our school have grown together over the years.
Though they went on to attend different high schools across Austin, today it was clear that the friendships, confidence, curiosity, and sense of community built at Magellan still connect them. Several seniors proudly wore college shirts representing universities across the country, including Georgetown, Georgia Tech, Michigan, Purdue, SMU, University of Colorado Boulder, Colorado School of Mines, and more—exciting reminders of all the different paths ahead.
It was also especially meaningful to celebrate that six of these seniors graduated with either the IB Diploma or IB Certificate, reflecting the global mindset and love of learning that began here years ago.
Today’s Senior Walk was more than a tradition. It was a full-circle moment, and a reminder that wherever life takes our students, part of them will always belong at Magellan.
Congratulations, Class of 2026. ✨

We couldn't have asked for a better way to wrap up this year’s Model United Nations season at GEMUN 2026 in Dallas!
Our amazing delegates stepped up to debate some of the world's biggest issues—from protecting endangered marine ecosystems to ensuring healthcare access in remote areas. They crushed it in committees like UNEP, UNICEF, CSW, ECOSOC, and FAO. The best part? Every single one of our resolutions passed! 🎉
Huge shout-outs are in order:
🇨🇦 Ava (representing Canada) – Earned a special Chair shout-out as an outstanding delegate!
🇵🇭 Anjali (representing Philippines) – Took home a Chair Honorable Mention for her awesome speech and debate skills!
We also want to celebrate our high school leaders:
🇺🇳 Diego – Served on the Secretariat team, showing us all what true leadership and diplomacy look like.
📝 Emily – Did an incredible job coaching and preparing the team before both of our big conferences. You both are the ultimate role models for our younger delegates!
None of this would be possible without Mayra Meza! Thank you for supporting our club from every angle—your dedication means the world to us! ❤️
What a perfect way to end the season. We are so incredibly proud of this team and everything they accomplished this year! 🌟

Some schools are buildings. Some are programs.
Magellan is something much harder to replicate: a community bound together by shared values, deep relationships, and a belief in what education can be. 💙
Last night, nearly 100 members of our Anchor Society gathered to celebrate that shared vision and the people helping shape Magellan’s future for generations to come.
Throughout the evening, speakers reflected on what makes Magellan so distinctive — not only our bilingual, globally minded education, but the feeling of belonging, purpose, and connection that students and families experience here every day.
Current 9th grader and Magellan lifer Anna Loconto captured it beautifully as she described the High School experience as connected, diverse, and deeply supportive — a place where students are truly known.
The evening also marked the unveiling of the new Siempre Magellan donor wall, honoring the Angel Donors whose early belief and generosity helped move this vision forward.
We are deeply grateful to every family, donor, and community member who continues to invest in
