Hey y'all,

In May, my class is hosting the 3rd Annual Adulting Day which is a day I started after seeing the viral video of the high school that shut the school down for a day and taught kids what they really needed to learn- HOW TO ADULT. You know, change a tire, cook, open a bank account etc.

The project has evolved and this year the theme is THE GAME OF DEAF LIFE. We will mimic the game by giving choice of the CARRER path or the COLLEGE path just like in the old board game. But the difference is we will be doing it in a LIFE SIZE way!!!

Im super excited but we need some help to make it a memorable day they will never forget!

PBS Kids adds American Sign Language interpreters to some of its children’s shows Six PBS children’s series, including ‘Arthur,’ and ‘Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood,’ will include ASL interpretations for the deaf and hard of hearing.

Community members are invited to have an important conversation about the district’s projected budget and the challenges and factors that are being considered in the final budget proposal for the upcoming school year.
