Yesterday we celebrated our wonderful friends and coworkers, Ms. Barbara, Mrs. Husty, Mrs. Margocs, and Ms. Mireya. We will miss them so much but are so excited for them and their retirement! 💙 Ayer celebramos a nuestras maravillosas amigas y compañeras de trabajo: la Sra. Barbara, la Sra. Husty, la Sra. Margocs y la Sra. Mireya. ¡Las extrañaremos muchísimo, pero estamos muy emocionados por ellas y por su jubilación! 💙

Congratulations to our Armadillo artists!

TEAM is a TAEA visual arts event recognizing exemplary elementary student artwork. During the 2026 TEAM season, 1,154 works were adjudicated in Region 13, with 52 being awarded Top of TEAM medals. Anderson Mill Elementary had 10 entries with 9 receiving the highest rating of a 3, and 2 receiving Top of TEAM! Congratulations to our students, we are so very proud them!

Field Day was a blast! Thank you to Coach E for planning, to PTA for funding, and the volunteers (including our !) for facilitating such a fun day. Field Day 2026 - in the books! ☀️¡El Día de Campo fue genial! Gracias al entrenador E por la planificación, a la PTA por la financiación y a los voluntarios (¡incluyendo a nuestros !) por hacer posible un día tan divertido. ¡Día de Campo 2026: misión cumplida!

Our wonderful PTA hosted our annual Multicultural Lunch! Families shared food from their cultures - arepas, samosas, banana pudding - delicious! Thank you to our families for sharing their time and culture with us, for feeding our teachers, and for PTA making it happen! ¡Nuestra maravillosa PTA organizó nuestro almuerzo multicultural anual! Las familias compartieron platos de sus culturas: arepas, samosas, pudín de plátano... ¡delicioso! Gracias a nuestras familias por compartir su tiempo y su cultura con nosotros, por alimentar a nuestros dedicados maestros y a la PTA por hacerlo posible.
