BUT I remember starting. I remember being so overwhelmed and thinking โ๐ก๐ข ๐๐ฅ๐๐๐๐๐ก๐ ๐ช๐๐ฌ I am going to be able to clear my mind!โ I remember my anxiety telling me I wasn't going to be able to meditate.
But I ๐ฆ๐ง๐๐ฅ๐ง๐๐ and so can you! And let me tell you, it is about to rock your world!
My YouTube (Check My Bio) has -will have more- guided meditations! Itโs a great place to start BUT here is another great way to start right now!
Follow these steps:
- ๐๐ฒ๐ ๐ฐ๐ผ๐บ๐ณ๐ผ๐ฟ๐๐ฎ๐ฏ๐น๐ฒ. You want to be comfortable enough to sit without having to rearrange and fidget, but not too comfortable! You do not want to fall asleep.
- ๐๐น๐ถ๐บ๐ถ๐ป๐ฎ๐๐ฒ ๐๐ป๐ป๐ฒ๐ฐ๐ฒ๐๐๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ ๐ฑ๐ถ๐๐๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ฐ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป๐. Put your phone on silent/do not disturb or even put it in the other room! Set a timer on your microwave, stove, watch or another device instead.
- ๐๐ผ๐ฐ๐๐ ๐๐ผ๐๐ฟ ๐ด๐ฎ๐๐ฒ. You can close your eyes, which might help you turn inward. Or you can gaze at a spot in front of you or candle.
- ๐ก๐ผ๐๐ถ๐ฐ๐ฒ ๐๐ผ๐๐ฟ ๐ฏ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ฎ๐๐ต. Belly breathing can help you find calm.
- ๐ก๐ผ๐๐ถ๐ฐ๐ฒ ๐๐ผ๐๐ฟ ๐๐ต๐ผ๐๐ด๐ต๐๐, ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐๐ต๐ฒ๐ป ๐ท๐๐๐ ๐๐ถ๐! Is your mind racing? Are you reliving past anxieties or anticipating the future? Notice all that comes up. See if you can let your thoughts just be and come back to your breath whenever your mind becomes busy.
Continue this practice until your timer goes off. When five minutes becomes more tangible, consider meditating a bit longer. However, just five minutes each day is incredibly powerful.

ITโS NORMAL TO LOSE MOTIVATION
I always get asked: How do you stay so motivated?
But the truth is, I am not ALWAYS โso motivatedโ...
And you might not always stay motivated either.
Not the answer you were looking for? Tough pill to swallow?
Consider this:
Think of a time you were motivated to reach a goal. Did you ALWAYS feel motivated to hit your workouts, smash your nutrition, and live your best life? Or were there still good days and bad days? Ups & downs?
I highly doubt you felt motivated every moment of every day. AND THAT IS TOTALLY NORMAL!
As an emotional authority (any other Human Design nerds out there?) I am always riding the emotional waves!
I am most โmotivatedโ during times of clarity. Not during super high highs or super low lows, but that sweet spot right in the middle. **This is always when I make the best decisions, as well!**
But guess what? Some of those days, I decided to take off. But there were also days where I just DID IT ANYWAYS! And I am sure youโve had days just like this as well!
Motivation may not always be there.
Thatโs where STANDARDS, DISCIPLINE and SUPPORT come in.
Just because your circumstances have changed, doesnโt mean you should value yourself less. And it doesnโt mean you should give yourself excuses to forget about your health.
So, what did you do to be disciplined during those times you were unbelievably motivated?
Did you schedule your workouts? Meal prep on Sundays? Check in with your coach?
Keep at it! Follow through on your protocols, lean on your coach and online fitness community for support, and soon enough, โhealthyโ becomes a routine.

I often get asked how some people accomplish so much more in their personal and professional lives than others?
If we all have the same 24 hours in the same seven days per week, with the same access to education, information, and resources how can some achieve massive goals while others do not?
Itโs all in the way we define success.
I want yโall to answer two questions for me:
1. How shall we live in order to be happy?
2. What is success to you? How would you define success if you could wave a magic wand and make your life absolutely perfect in every way? What would your life look like?
Itโs not that you donโt know what to do to get what you want. Instead, itโs that you donโt have the discipline to make yourself do what you know you should do, whether you feel like it or not.
The other thing keeping you from success is that you may not know WHY you want what you say you want.
Itโs time to take some responsibility! Everything that you are currently dealing with is 100% your fault. The good & the beautiful, but also the bad & the ugly!
But you can change it all right now, too.
I want you to do one thing today! I want you to journal and determine three things:
1. What exactly is it that you want in life?
2. What is the price that you will have to pay to get those things? (Tip: think ๐ฐ, โฐ, habits & energy!)
3. Are you WILLING to pay the price? (Bonus: If yes, write a letter to your future self committing to the above and letting her know WHY youโre doing this.)
Pro-tip: Be sure to include all areas of your life -- career, family, finances, health, etc. โค๏ธ
You are the creator of your life and your reality. Itโs time to get creating. โค๏ธ

There is massive power in words. Words not only have the ability to wound but to heal. Positive words have the power to change and recreate your world. By repeating affirmations over and over again they will begin to take over your thoughts and slowly, overtime you pattern of thinking will begin to change.
Now this is no overnight phenomenon, in the beginning your mind will not believe them but as you continue to repeat them daily, they will become part of your subconscious and your mind will begin to believe what you are saying.
Want to start a new exercise routine? Struggling with motivation? Start with affirmations ๐๐ง ๐๐๐๐ฆ๐ง once per day repeat these in order 5x. Want to go all in start with repeating these in order 5x ๐ง๐๐ฅ๐๐ separate times daily. Do this for the next 21 days. Start building healthy habits. Changing your life needs to start first with building a ๐ฆ๐ง๐ฅ๐ข๐ก๐ foundation not just jumping into action and hoping for the best.
Eventually these motivation affirmations will become part of your life and your life will begin to change.
