Prolozone TMJ treatments

We are very pleased to be able to offer prolozone TMJ treatments in our office. This is a combination of prolotherapy which is a well known modality to help an injured joint to heal, especially damaged ligaments and irritated nerve endings. Dr. Buck adds ozone to this protocol to achieve significantly better overall healing, reduction in pain and ligament regeneration. We can now treat very advanced TMJ ( Jaw joint) dysfunction cases including jaw locking; chronic facial pain and headaches; and severe arthritic jaw joints. The relief of pain and speed of healing is simply remarkable and unlike any other treatment Dr. Buck has utilized in his 21 years of treating TMJ patients. Our success with this treatment prompted Dr. Buck to lecture on this subject, as he wants others to consider using this treatment. To our knowledge, no other dentists in the United States yet are providing Prolozone treatments for patients.

Below is a testimony from a patient who has an advanced jaw joint arthritis condition that had resolved in part due to prolozone treatments:

I am being treated by Dr. Buck for TMJ. During the ‘growth phase’ of my treatment I received two ProLozone therapy treatments over a period of two months because my jaw kept making crunching and crinkling sounds when I opened and closed. The procedure was simple with very little discomfort. I could feel the pinch of the injection but no other pain. My jaw was a bit achy for a few hours afterwards but then ok. The best news is that the crunching/crinkling sounds are gone! It seems the ProLo helped my jaw heal a little more. So glad I jumped in.
