Web/Video Conferencing Tool Summit
ACC is considering streamlining the college’s use of the video teleconferencing (VTC) tools. The recommendations are 1) use Zoom by the college as a collaboration tool; 2) use Blackboard Collaborate by faculty as a distance learning tool; and 3) use Zoom for distance learning on an exception basis.
To allow faculty the opportunity to weigh in on this matter, the Faculty Senate has organized a Zoom meeting from 1 to 3 pm on February 5. It is very important that you attend the meeting to voice your opinion or to ask questions, especially if you are lecturing using a tool other than Blackboard Collaborate. You should have received an email on 1/28 which provided a link to join the Zoom meeting.
