Public comment on the proposed K-12 literary lists is now open! The State Board of Education is meeting in June to vote on final approval.
This is our last chance to fight for our students to receive a quality education. These overly long lists would eat up most instructional time and force some districts to spend even more money on required books.
The lists also includes direct passages from the Bible, alienating students of other belief systems and backgrounds. Discussions about faith belong between parents, their children, and their faith communities—not decided by politicians or state education officials.

We are not fooled by their cruel and politically motivated tactics and will continue to join parents, students and educators to make public schools places where we are all free to thrive and support each other for who we are.
