We were honored to host the Regenerative & Resilient Farm Field Day this past Monday, a day filled with hands-on learning, meaningful conversations, and a shared passion for sustainable agriculture.
From a live soil testing demonstration from Dr. Tony Proven, to insightful talks from our guest speaker, Lynette Niebrugge; it was inspiring to see so many people come together to explore regenerative farming practices and build resilience in our local food systems.
A heartfelt thank you to Matt Simon, the farm director! and everyone who joined us, your enthusiasm and curiosity made the day truly special.

📢 Disaster Assistance Center Update for Flood Recovery

☑️ Travis County Health and Human Services has adjusted its hours at the Disaster Assistance Center at Round Mountain Baptist Church, 14500 Round Mountain Road, Leander. New hours are 12 to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday. Staff is onsite 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday and Sunday.

☑️ FEMA and the U.S. Small Business Administration have also opened a tent at the site in addition to their Disaster Recovery Center. Their hours are 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily through Monday, Aug. 11.

📢 Apply for FEMA & SBA Disaster Assistance In Person!

FEMA and U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) representatives are available to assist Travis County residents impacted by the July storms and flooding.

🕗 Open Monday–Saturday, 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. (Closed Sundays)

✅ Services include:
• Help applying for FEMA assistance
• SBA disaster loan support
• Referrals to local, state, and nonprofit resources
• Accessibility services and ASL interpretation (call 202-705-9500 to request)
• Accessibility-related repairs may be eligible if not covered by insurance

💻 You can also apply at DisasterAssistance.gov, via the FEMA app, or by calling the FEMA Helpline at 800-621-3362 (6 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily).
