Congratulations to all of our AHS Practicum Students who presented about their internships over the past two days. These students earned both their CTE Endorsement as well as their Academy Distinction. Thank you to all of our industry partners that hosted an intern. AISD has amazing Career & Technology opportunities for our students.

Thirty Austin High Juniors were selected to be part of the ACL x AHS Cohort and toured C3Presents Headquarters. They planned a music festival lineup and pitched their ideas to a panel of judges. Next Fall this cohort will take a behind the scenes tour of ACL Music Festival. Thank you to Austin Ed Fund for starting this amazing partnership!

Austin High Culinary competed against Bowie Culinary for the chance to put an item on the Kerby Lane summer menu.

First place winner was Zachary Borja and Josiah Peterson-Bull with a Soy Glazed Salmon Scampi.

Harper Carlson and Ellie Armstrong will also get there Blackened Shrimp Street Chalupas on the menu as well.

Congratulations to Braydon Pratt for his 2nd Place finish at the UIL Region IV 6A Golf Tournament. Braydon shot an outstanding 145 (75, 70) and won a sudden death playoff hole to secure the title of Regional Runner-Up. Braydon is the 1st Austin High Maroon to qualify for the State Tournament since 2012 and will compete at White Bluff New Course on April 27th & 28th.

We’re very proud to announce that ALL THREE of our Concert Bands made Sweepstakes at UIL, earning Division I Ratings in both Concert and Sight-Reading performances!

These accolades can be added to our Sweepstakes at UIL Marching Contest in the fall, our two Full Orchestras, and every single middle school band at O. Henry and Clint Small MS! Our entire vertical team swept this year at UIL, the only program in all of Austin ISD!

Thanks to Navan for hosting our Senior Practicum students on an industry site visit today. Our students were able to hear from members of the Customer Management, Sales, and Data Analytics teams. Austin High provides our students with a great education and exposure to exciting career opportunities!
