🌱 Calling all future Greenhands! 🌱
I’m so excited to share that Akins FFA will be hosting the first Little Greenhands Camp on Friday, August 1st at the Akins High School Cafeteria!
If you have a child going into 3rd-8th grade who loves animals, plants, agriculture, or just enjoys getting their hands dirty and trying new things, this is such a fun opportunity!
Our amazing Akins FFA students will be leading hands-on activities and giving campers a glimpse into everything our agriculture program has to offer. Some of the activities may include:
🐐 Petting zoo
🌱 Planting seedlings
💐 Floral design
🐄 Barn & greenhouse tours
🩺 Veterinary skill demonstrations
🦌 Wildlife activities
…and so much more!
📅 August 1
🕣 Check-in: 8:30-9:00 AM
🕘 Camp: 9:00 AM-12:30 PM (ending with lunch)
📍 Akins High School Cafeteria
💲 $50 per camper (includes a camp T-shirt, lunch, take-home goodies, and all activities!)
Whether your child is already interested in Junior FFA, livestock, public speaking, or they’re simply curious about agriculture, we’d love to have them join us!
