You're invited to join us at the Jeweler's Saw tomorrow for our holiday market in South Austin!

I will be set up with my jewelry for sale alongside other amazing members of our metalsmithing community.

When you're here, you can also check out the rest of the Art Hub ATX complex where there are many artist studios with a myriad of mediums.

There will be beverages, snacks, merriment and a whole lot of talent. Come join the festivities! 🥳

The Journey of an artist is never a straight line. Instagram tends to be a place where we share highlight reels. Unfortunately one of the parts about being an artist especially someone applying to things like public art is that you're going to get a lot of rejection along with your wins. So the last two public art opportunities that I was recommended for and was a finalist for did not come through for me but I'm going to forge ahead and keep applying and I will find the right things that align with me. Never give up! Trust your vision. That's my motto.

That’s a wrap on Jewelry Techniques 1!
(aka the final round before we officially rename it Benchwork Basics: Jewelry Foundations)

My students absolutely crushed it—beautiful sawing, soldering, forming, and bezel setting. Every single piece was a stunner. Watching their skills grow each week is honestly my favorite part.

Ready to join the next round?
We meet for six sessions, evenings on Tuesdays + Thursdays, June 10-26.
Only 3 seats left! Snag yours now before it fills up!

Image features a bezel set sterling silver and dichroic glass pendant sample i created for class.

I created my first cabochon from a rock I collected in Colorado that is likely schist, granite and mica. Thanks for teaching me Zach!
