Are you a parent of a young child aged 6 to 18 months? MILES Program is here to offer support and resources!

What is the MILES Program? The MILES Program (Milestones in Early Learning and Support) is a research initiative focused on helping families with young children. We aim to provide valuable insights and resources to support your child’s early development.

✨ Why Participate in MILES? ✨
• In-person program
• Available in English and Spanish
• FREE access to a research-based support program

Who Can Join? Parents or caregivers of children aged 6 to 18 months, with or without Down syndrome, living in central Texas.

We are excited to announce that the Texas Center for Disability Studies at UT is hosting our first-ever event, "Supporting Every Step: Children's Developmental Screening and Resource Fair." This event is free for families and offers developmental, autism, gross motor, vision, and hearing screenings for children.
We will post flyers soon for families interested in attending the event!
Event Details:
Theme: Carnival
Date: Saturday, October 19th
Time: 9 am to 12 pm
Location: Pickle Research Center, Commons Conference Center (near the Domain)
Vendor Information:
Fee: $150 for non-profits and $300 for for-profit organizations
Note: We encourage all vendors to bring a carnival-themed activity for children if possible.
