🎻 Austin Strings Has Gone Remote 🎻

After 25 wonderful years of serving the Austin community, Lori is retiring and Brieann is moving out of state. With the rising costs of maintaining a storefront in Austin and these big life changes, Austin Strings will be transitioning to a fully remote/online business model and closing our physical shop.

For Our Current Renters & Customers:
We still have the same phone number and website, and we’ll continue to honor all rental equities and provide trade-ups when needed. Just call or text us, and we’ll walk you through the
new process.

For New Rentals:
We will no longer be offering new rentals, but can refer you to another shop if you contact us.

Lessons:
If you take lessons at our studio, nothing is changing as the Austin Strings Studios will remain open! You can get more info directly from your teacher.

We love helping players from all walks of life, and our storefront has been a big part of making that possible. Though things are changing, please remember; we’re still just a message or phone call away!

Behold, the monarch artist "King Künstler". After some TLC, he is on our floor and ready for a home!

This violin was made sometime between World War 1 and 2 and eventually made its way from Germany to here. These violins were made by the Monarch Violin Company which had their instruments approved by the late Hungarian violinist Leopold Auer.

Exciting news! Austin Strings Spring Chamber Group is kicking off March 15th and will run from 5:30-7 PM. If you love making music with others, this is the perfect opportunity to grow, collaborate, and have fun!
