As our semester comes to a close, we had a powerful time in class today. Our students performed a live action of Mark 5. It was sobering to behold the student playing the woman subject to bleeding (Mk 5:25-36).

The experience was moving and caused us to put ourselves, as much as possible, in the shoes of the various characters in the story. Wow!

What a sweet time today!

Join us for the start of a new course on Foundations of Outreach and Evangelism. Taught by Rev. Herb Bailey, who has many years experience as a practitioner and teacher on the subject, we will explore this often assumed and overlooked subject. We will consider why we must engage in evangelism, the obstacles to it, and ways to be creative.

This six week course will begin on Tuesday, April 11th at 6:30 AM. As always, tacos and coffee will be offered after each class.

So, whether you’re a pastor, ministry leader, or simply a lay person, you’re invited to navigate this crucial topic with us.

Today, we kicked off a new 6-week course titled “Cultivating a Healthy, Diverse Community,” led by Pastor .

This morning, we looked at the various types of diversity in the early church. Specifically looking at the Corinthian church, we noticed the challenges this church faced for being an ethnically, economically, generationally, and theologically diverse church. Despite the challenges, the church remains one body and most pursue unity in diversity.

What a fun way to begin November! We can’t wait for next week!

For more info, DM us. Feel free to also join a class on Tuesdays at 6:30 AM.
