Ever find yourself wanting to say no… but saying yes anyway?

Sometimes we know exactly where our limit is. The hard part is communicating it when we’re worried about disappointing someone else.

That’s what we’ll be exploring at our next Women’s Gathering.

We’ll have an honest, guided conversation about why saying no can feel so hard, what gets in the way of setting boundaries, and how we can honor our own needs without losing connection with the people we care about.

🌿 Why Is Saying No So Hard? Let’s Talk Boundaries

Come comfy, come as you are, and make some space for yourself. 💜

Last night was an evening to connect, reflect, and envision.

We created space to step away from the day-to-day and think about what we want more of—how we want to feel, what we want to prioritize, what we want to experience, and what we want to make space for.

Then we brought those reflections to life by creating our own vision boards.

I loved watching the conversations, creativity, and connection unfold throughout the evening.

This is what I love about facilitating women’s gatherings—creating experiences that give women the space to pause, connect with themselves and one another, and be intentional about what they want to carry forward.

Grateful for the opportunity to facilitate this beautiful evening. 💛

Sometimes we know exactly where our limit is.

We know we want to say no.
We know something doesn’t work for us.
We know what we need.

And yet, we hesitate to say it.

Not because the boundary is unclear — but because we’re already anticipating the other person’s reaction.

Will they be disappointed?
Will they be upset?
Will they think differently of me?

Sometimes the hardest part of setting a boundary isn’t knowing the limit. It’s being willing to communicate it even when someone else may not like it.

What’s harder for you — knowing where your limit is, or actually saying it?

I’d love to hear your thoughts below.

The first Women’s Gathering 💜

A morning of connection, reflection, and recharging - with an honest conversation about mental load and everything women carry.

Thank you to the women who showed up so openly and to Nuvitru Wellness for welcoming us into their space and helping us to recharge.

This is exactly what I hope Women’s Gatherings can be: a place to pause, have meaningful conversations, and connect with other women.

More to come. 💜

🌿 IT’S HAPPENING! Our first Women’s Gathering is here.

Do you ever wonder, “Why am I so exhausted?”, even when you feel like you should be able to handle it all?

There’s what we do…and then there’s the invisible load we carry: planning, remembering, anticipating, caring, and constantly thinking about what’s next.

On September 1, we’re making space to talk about it.

Join us for an intimate morning to connect, reflect, and recharge through guided conversation, meaningful connection, refreshments, and Nuvitru Wellness experiences.

September 1 | 9:30–11:30 AM
Nuvitru Wellness
$36 | Limited spots

Come comfy. Come as you are. Come make some space for YOU.

Overfunctioning teaches us that if we stop holding everything together, everything will fall apart.

Calm Authority asks us to test a different belief.

To allow others to carry what’s theirs.
To tolerate the discomfort of not jumping in.
To discover that trust isn’t built by controlling more—it grows when we create space for others to step forward.

Where in your life are you still stepping backward instead of trusting the ground?

You look capable.

You get things done.

People rely on you.

And somewhere along the way, being responsible turned into being responsible for everything.

The schedules.
The emotions.
The follow-through.
The invisible work that keeps life moving.

From the outside, it looks like leadership.

But sometimes it’s overfunctioning.

The challenge isn’t that you’re carrying a lot.

The challenge is when the entire system depends on you carrying it.

That’s when rest starts to feel risky.
Boundaries feel selfish.
And your own needs become the first thing sacrificed.

Calm Authority isn’t about doing more.

It’s about leading from a place of clarity, self-respect, and sustainable energy.

Because true leadership isn’t overfunctioning.

It’s knowing what is yours to carry—and what isn’t.

I’m curious:

Which one feels most familiar right now?

1️⃣ Being the one everyone relies on.

2️⃣ Feeling guilty when I slow down.

3️⃣ Carrying the emotional load for everyone else.

4️⃣ Looking capable on the outside while feeling drained on the inside.

How many times have you stepped in, smoothed things over, said yes when you meant no, or carried the emotional weight for everyone around you?

Many women mistake keeping the peace for leadership.

But a peace that depends on your constant sacrifice isn’t peace—it’s exhaustion.

True leadership isn’t keeping a fragile peace.
It’s protecting your own capacity so you can show up with clarity, consistency, and self-respect.

Sometimes the most loving thing you can do is stop managing everyone else’s emotions and start honoring your own limits.

💛 Boundaries aren’t selfish.
They’re how we protect what matters most.
