We are always hiring!

Certified teachers, degreed professionals, reading specialists, and upper-division students encouraged to apply!

Austin Learning Center is hiring the best and brightest educators! We invite strong candidates with content area expertise in all core academic areas, grades PreK through college, to apply.

Our current needs include elementary school (all subjects), middle school (all subjects), reading specialists, reading/math intervention, high school subjects including physics, calculus, chemistry, algebra, geometry, pre-calculus, AP Spanish, AP Economics, AP Latin and computer science, and college accounting, math, science and economics.

Tutors set their own schedule, but we are primarily hiring tutors who are available for shifts in the evenings (after 3:30pm) and on the weekends. Applicants must be able to commit to finishing out the 2021-22 academic school year.

We are so grateful for the many ways that teachers have stepped up for our community over the past year and a half. Throughout an immensely challenging time, we have been continually reminded just how much teachers and school faculty do to support our students and community. They have collectively shown us how to adapt, give endless compassion, model resilience and find our way forward.

We'd like to spread some joy by providing an appreciation lunch to the faculty and staff at some of our local schools. We will choose public and private school campuses in the Austin area to receive delicious, catered meals. You can join us by donating funds to help purchase those meals, and better yet, we will match your donations!

It really takes a village to do great things, and our village is strong! Thank you so much for your support.

WE ARE OPEN! Our main office is working through a loss of spectrum internet, however our tutors are all available for their regular sessions. If we cannot answer your scheduling questions due to our internet outage issue, we will let you know and get back to you asap.

We know that the next few days will bring challenging weather and potential loss of electricity and/or internet for both clients and staff. If you would like to cancel, please do so in advance so that we can alert our staff. If you experience challenges unexpectedly, please either text or leave a voicemail and we will reach out (via text) to find solutions for everyone.
