✨CITRINE w/ SMOKY PHANTOMS ✨

Saying farewell to this stunning citrine tower with the cleanest smoky phantoms I have ever seen!!

What is a ‘phantom?’

Essentially phantoms are growth patterns where one crystal stops growing for a period of time and then starts growing again. In this piece, the smoky quartz phantoms were created from irradiated citrine — basically an intensely high level of heat and pressure that ‘cooks’ the citrine creating a smoky looking effect.

These whispy dark lines are similar to rings on a tree, showing the evolution of the growth process!

I AM OBSESSED!

I have seen one other citrine with smoky phantoms, and it didn’t come close to this piece! This is truly a rare gem and I am so honored to have helped in facilitating the journey home for this beauty!
