Abbott's Very Special Session does include some foolishness about "Critical Race Theory", but does *not* include "monument protection", so it looks like we remain safe on that front for two years.
I'm pleasantly surprised; I had figured that Abbott would go all-in on the culture war stuff to outflank West on the right.
