MHS ‘76 —-
A tradition may be clipped….
After Austin ISD administration made budget cut decisions, funding for marching band and drill team travel to football games will be limited this season. District will pay for 5 trips (that includes all the Austin stadium games - !) for each group. The Mac Band Boosters say in the article/clip that they can currently fund 2 more.

I have not seen anything from the Blue Brigade or their boosters yet.
Ten football games are on this year’s schedule. The first two are non-district games against Austin ISD high schools. The remaining 8 are UIL district. Anderson is back with Mac in the district and that game will be in October. There are 3 away games outside of Austin and I’m guessing those will be among the missed games.

**Blue Brigade**
I don’t have fundraising info for them, but one could likely contact their booster club (which is a 501(c)3 group).
