My name is Cynthia, but my family and friends call me Cindy. 🌸 I’ve been in the beauty industry since 2005, starting behind the barber chair making only $8 a haircut. 💈✨

Over the years, I became an instructor in 2007, salon owner in 2009, and color specialist… but in 2015 I discovered the world of lash artistry, and everything changed. What started as learning a new skill quickly became a passion for teaching and helping others grow. 🤍

In 2022, I took the biggest leap of faith of my life and opened Sleeping Beauty Lash Institute. Walking away from my career in colorimetry wasn’t easy. A lot of people thought I was CRAZY because lashes “wasn’t my thing.” But deep down, I knew it wasn’t just lashes, my true passion was education, leadership, and helping shape the next generation of beauty professionals. 👩🏻‍🏫📚🎓

2025 we launched the Cosmetology Department and now offer all the 4 state approved cosmetology programs. ✨

Today, our mission is about so much more than beauty, we are building future professionals, leaders, and entrepreneurs. ✨
And we are proudly the ONLY school in Austin that includes Business Management Certification as part of our curriculum. 👠💼 And because we love our community, we always welcome students from other cosmetology schools to join our Business Management Classes ABSOLUTELY FREE! 🤍
