Dear Dailey Families,
As we wrap up another school year, I want to take a moment to sincerely thank each of you for your support, partnership, and commitment throughout the year. It has truly been a year filled with growth, unforgettable memories, and many valuable lessons learned for both our students and staff.
The end of the school year always brings many emotions, and there were definitely lots of tears as we celebrated our students, reflected on the year, and prepared to say goodbye for the summer. We are incredibly proud of all our Timberwolves and the progress they have made academically, socially, and personally.
To our 8th graders — we wish you the very best as you begin your high school journey. Continue to work hard, make positive choices, and represent Dailey with pride. We know you will do amazing things!
We hope all of our families have a safe, relaxing, and fun-filled summer. Please continue to be on the lookout for campus updates, important information, and announcements throughout the summer as we begin preparing for another great school year ahead.
Thank you again for an incredible year. Once a Timberwolf, always a Timberwolf!
With appreciation,

About last night — WE celebrated at Del Valle High School for our 8th Grade Crossover! The room was packed with parents, guardians, staff, and teachers cheering on these AMAZING students as they prepare for their next chapter. It was wonderful to see the tremendous support and hard work from DMS staff to ensure the night was beautifully decorated and very welcoming. We also cannot forget our community organizations and Del Valle High School Principal Dr. Holiday, who gave a warm and welcoming speech to our rising 9th-grade families.
This celebration was certainly a team effort, led by Coach London and Mr. Roberson. We are incredibly proud of our students, hats off to their parents and guardians for making sure education matters.
We are not saying goodbye because, at Dailey House, “Once a Timberwolf, Always a Timberwolf!” 🐺
A BIG thank you to Principal Gillespie for all that she does for our students, staff, and community.

Dear Parents and Guardians,
As we approach the final week of school, Dailey Middle School remains committed to maintaining a safe, structured, and focused learning environment for all students. To support a smooth and positive close to the school year, the following campus expectations and procedures will be in effect beginning Monday, May 18, through the last day of school.
Backpacks and Large Bags
Students will not be permitted to bring backpacks or large bags to campus during the final week of school. Students will continue to have access to all necessary instructional materials and supplies throughout the school day, so backpacks and large bags should remain at home. Any student who brings a backpack or large bag to school will be required to place the item in a campus-designated locked area for the duration of the school day. Items may be retrieved during dismissal. Small purses are allowed.
Cell Phone Policy Reminder
Dailey Middle School’s cell phone policy remains fully in effect through the last day of school. Cell phones and personal electronic devices must remain put away and out of sight during instructional time.
Students who fail to follow campus expectations regarding cell phone use may be subject to campus disciplinary consequences, including confiscation of the device in accordance with campus procedures. We appreciate your support in reinforcing the importance of staying focused and engaged in learning through the end of the school year.
Return of School Property
We are also continuing to collect all outstanding school-issued items, including but not limited to:
Library books
Athletic equipment and uniforms
School-issued materials or gear
Any other checked-out campus property
Please ensure that all items are returned promptly to the appropriate teacher, coach, or campus department. Returning these items on time helps us successfully close out the school year and prepare for next year.
Prohibited Items
To help maintain a safe school environment, students should not bring prohibited or distracting items to campus, including but not limited to:
Water guns (including toy or replica-style items)
Orbeez guns or gel blasters
Balloons
Toys
Silly string
Any item deemed unsafe or disruptive to the learning environment
Thank you for your continued partnership and support as we work together to ensure a safe, respectful, and successful end to the school year for all students and staff at Dailey Middle School.
