Congratulations to Emma and Alat James, the winners of the baton autographed by Maestro Peter Bay!

Emma James is a junior at Lake Travis High School currently enrolled in visual arts classes, and Alat James is a freshman at Lake Travis High School and a member of the band.

The attached photos show the winners receiving the baton from Austin Symphony Orchestra CEO Justus Zimmerman, City of Lakeway Arts Committee Chair Janet Wright, and Vice-Chair Allisyn Martin.

The City of Lakeway Arts Committee wishes to convey our heartfelt appreciation for the donated baton, which helped raise funds for the Lake Travis High School Orchestra Parent Booster Club. These funds support the VIP Dinner for dignitaries from the City of Lakeway, the Austin Symphony Orchestra, and the Lake Travis ISD.
