This past Wednesday, MacTheatre’s own Maggie Brown (Class of 26) showcased her original musical “Walk You Back to Your Car” as her senior recital. Co-written with MacTheatre alum Anderson Zoll, the story follows three couples leaving a party and the connections that can be made in the simple walk to somebodies car. We are beyond proud of Maggie and all the other MacTheatre students involved. Congrats to the cast, crew, and band on this incredible production!! 🎉

As our 2025-2026 year comes to a close, we want to recognize all the amazing shows and projects we put on this final semester. Congrats on a fantastic semester and buckle up for our next season!! 🌟

Thank you, MacTheatre, for the memories! I am deeply grateful for the experiences — productions, classes, trips, competitions, discussions, laughter, tears, and so much more. It’s been a privilege to work with so many talented, intelligent, and kind students and their wonderfully supportive families. I will miss MacTheatre but know you will continue to do amazing things. Best of luck and a huge welcome to Ms Samantha Gang as she steps into the position of Director of Performance Theatre. I look forward to my own transition to Lively Middle School next year and can’t wait to see all that lies ahead for both theatre programs! Happy Summer!

TOMORROW NIGHT the cast, band, and crew of Walk You Back To Your Car | A New Musical by Anderson Zoll & Maggie Brown will be performing in the MAC at 6 PM. The show is 1 hour long and admission is FREE. Come support Maggie Brown in the presentation of her senior recital, and see this exciting new musical!! House opens at 5:30 so get there early to snag a seat!

As we end our semester strong, we want to take a moment to thank Ms. Brookby who will be at Lively next year. Her impact on this program made these past 4 years unforgettable. We are grateful to you and will miss you a lot! MACTheatre wishes you luck with what you do next!
