A Girl and A Gun Rifle Retreat
Day 1 kicked off on the range with Brian and AJ, two active law enforcement officers and SWAT team members who brought their real world experience to the weekend. Even though the rain cut our morning short, we still had the opportunity to run the shoot house and dive into the fundamentals clearing a house with an AR15.
After the range, we headed to the classroom for a deep dive into how the AR15 actually operates. We fully disassembled our rifles, which is a nerve racking experience with the tiny springs and pins! Thankfully, AJ and Brian were incredibly patient, walking us through every step and answering every question we had.
Having only one day to train with them only made me want to take more classes with them! Looking forward to future training!
