The PTO Coloring Book was delivered to the school on Friday.
Coloring Books were either sent home on Friday or will go home soon.
Everything delivered to the school was in great shape.
The Coloring Books are large, bright, and a wonderful way to celebrate our kids!

We have 15 extra copies for sale.

The Smith PTO purchased $300 in sports equipment to help replace damaged or broken gear at Smith School!
This donation is possible because Parents like You participated in PTO Fundraisers.

The Smith Coloring Book is a chance for your child to draw a picture that will be published in a coloring book!
Please encourage your child to participate!
We need art to make a coloring book!

Boo Grams are an opportunity for your child to send a Halloween Message to a friend.
They cost $1 and The PTO will add a Halloween Themed Pencil to every Boo Gram!
(We can no linger distribute treats)

The Smith PTO Coloring Book Sign Up Sheets will be available in the Library during Conferences!

The Smith PTO wants to make a coloring designed by Smith Students!
Every student has the opportunity to draw a black and white picture.
They can return the artwork to the library and place in this box.
If we get enough submissions, we will bind the art and sell it as a coloring book.
Any revenue earned will be used to support Smith Students and Staff.

This project will only work if you PARTICIPATE!
Please consider picking up a form during conferences!

The Smith PTO is looking for Book Donations, but do NOT bring them to school!
Repeat: Do NOT bring them to school!

Every year the Tuura Family hosts, “Books as Treats.”
They are currently accepting donations.

For the last Eight Years, “Books as Treats” has given away about 500 books on Halloween.
Plus 150 books over Winter.
Finally, the remaining surplus “funds” a Little Free Library, which many Smith Students use.

This is a “Zero Budget” operation.
The Community has successfully funded Books as Treats every year!

If you would like to donate any children’s books or young adult books to the Halloween Giveaway, please message the PTO to make arrangements!

The Smith PTO is going to try and produce a Smith School Coloring Book!

Students, Teachers, and Staff can create a black and white drawing which they submit to the Coloring Book.
The Coloring Book will be sold as a PTO Fundraiser.
The Revenue will be used to help support Smith Elementary School.

How big will the book be?
How much will it cost?
When will it be published?

Those answers are based on PARTICIPATION!
Coloring Books need ART!
We need YOUR art!

The Coloring Book Sign Up Sheet can be printed at home, your child can draw on the back and return it to school.
A drop off box will be set up in the library.
If you don't have a way to print at home, sheets will be offered next to the box in the library.
