Fourth-year Bachelor of Arts students completed their annual retreat at Bulong ng Simoy, Dipaculao, Aurora. Organized by the Christian Formation Program (CFP) Office of Mount Carmel College of Baler (MCCB), the retreat is a yearly activity for graduating students aimed at fostering their spiritual growth and development.

DAY 6: A NIGHT OF COLORS AND CHEERS

As the culminating event of this year’s AB Week celebration, all AB students gathered for a vibrant Coachella Party, where they showcased their creativity through stylish and colorful Coachella-inspired outfits.

The program featured fun games, singing talent showcases, the awarding of winners from the various AB Week competitions, and the recognition of students who achieved outstanding academic performance during the first semester and qualified for the Dean’s List.

The evening celebration aimed to give AB students an opportunity to socialize, unwind, and celebrate together in thanksgiving for the success of the AB Week 2026.

DAY 5: A CLASH OF MINDS AND SKILLS

AB students showcased their talents across various disciplines through simultaneous Inter-Major Competitions held as part of the AB Week celebration.

AB History students demonstrated their knowledge and appreciation of the past in the Museum Curation Competition. Meanwhile, AB Sociology students displayed their communication and critical thinking skills in the Impromptu Speech Competition. The venue was filled with excitement and tension as AB Political Science students competed in the highly engaging PolSci Quiz Bee.

Capping off the day’s events was the much-anticipated Debate Competition, where students from the different Bachelor of Arts courses battled with intellect, wit, and persuasive skills in a thrilling exchange of ideas.

DAY 4-PART 2: A DAY OF JOY AND GIVING

As part of the AB Week celebration, students from the Liberal Arts Program conducted a community outreach activity for children from underprivileged families in Sitio Ilaya, Brgy. Zabali, Baler, Aurora. The activity featured fun games, dance and art workshops, and storytelling sessions. Food was also shared with the children, while school supplies and hygiene kits were distributed to the 32 identified children from the poorest families in the adopted community. The outreach activity was carried out in coordination with the Community Extension Program of the Higher Education Department (HED) of Mount Carmel College of Baler (MCCB).

DAY 4-PART 1: KUMUSTAHAN SA TAHANAN

The Liberal Arts Program conducted β€œKumustahan sa Tahanan” as part of its community exposure and outreach initiative, during which students visited underprivileged families in Sitio Ilaya, Brgy. Zabali, Baler, Aurora. As part of the outreach effort, the students distributed relief goods and hygiene kits to the families. The activity was held in celebration of AB Week in coordination with the Community Extension Program of the Higher Education Department (HED) of Mount Carmel College of Baler (MCCB).

AB students showcased their talents through singing, acting, and dance competitions. Following the Culture and Art Workshops, four teams competed through performances that reflected Filipino values and culture. The activity served as one of the highlights of the Liberal Arts Program’s celebration of National Heritage Month.

DAY 3-PART 2: CELEBRATING TALENT, CULTURE, AND CREATIVITY THROUGH THE ARTS

As part of the celebration of AB Week, AB students further honed their talents through the Culture and Art Workshops. Simultaneous workshops in dancing, acting, and singing provided students with opportunities to challenge their skills and develop their discovered talents.

In addition, slogan and poster-making competitions were conducted to showcase the artistic creativity and talents of AB students. The activities centered on the theme of Filipino culture, heritage, and values in line with this year’s celebration of National Heritage Month.
