Online, strength, endurance and mobility classes. Classes are every Wednesday at 6 PM central time and every Saturday morning at 10 AM central time grab two dumbbells and if you don’t have dumbbells grab two water bottles and let’s get stronger together. December 2025, I put on my winter coat and literally cried because it was too tight.

In January 2026, I decided it was time to make some strategic changes, not just with what I was putting in my mouth, but with my entire life, including the circle of people around me. I reminded myself: I’m just as important as all the people I pour into and help get healthier.

I stopped chasing weight loss and started focusing more on building muscle & getting stronger. I stopped constantly switching up my workouts and went back to the basics, consistency, progressive strength training, and doing the work. I was trying to out work a bad diet 😮‍💨

Now, I’m below my goal weight I originally set for myself, but I’m not done. I’m still committed to being 1% better every single day, and honestly, I’m excited to see what this body is capable of.

And yes, I’m sure menopause plays a part. But I’m not giving menopause all the glory. 😂

I’m taking responsibility for my choices and making better choices. I still eat the things I love, just in moderation.

At 53, muscle preservation is the prize. The scale is secondary. Lethal Lisa
