We encourage and promote the quality in breeding of purebred Great Danes and to do all possible to bring their natural qualities to perfection.
We urge our members and breeders to accept the standard of the breed as approved by the American Kennel Club (AKC) and encourage the study of the standard by breeders, judges, dog show committees and others interested in the advancement of the breed. We conduct sanctioned matches, specialty shows, obedience trials and other events for which the club is eligible under the Rules and Regulations of the American Kennel Club, and to generate publicity on any matter affecting the welfare of the breed.

We are celebrating club members Suzy & Rumble and Erin & King (OH G2) on their Major Best of Breed wins this weekend at the Buckhorn Kennel Club shows in Cheyenne, WY!
Our specialty Show Chair Loren & his girls Rebel and Rhyme also secured two Major wins in the classes. Congrats to all the winners, and we’re looking forward to seeing you at Roaring Fork next month! *AHEM* Get your entries in, it closes this week!

Day one of Plum Creek Kennel Club shows is a wrap and big congrats to all the winners! We’re celebrating our club members for their Best of Breed, Select Bitch/Best of Breed Owner-Handled, and Winner’s Bitch placements as well as a first-ever time in the ring.
First day jitters are out, and we’ll see you tomorrow at 9:30 following Malamutes in Ring 6!
