Founded in 2008 under the name BEAphotography, changing in 2010 to Axell Photography, we have made a business out of Candid and Action photography.
When I gave my son his first camera around his 14th birthday he made an immediate bond to the medium. I made sure he was enrolled in photography classes during school which he passed with high praise. Just three days after a car accident left me in considerable pain, I was determined to keep my promise and made it to the Hallowell Backyard Games, cameras in hand. It wasn’t easy, but being surrounded by such great people and positive energy made every moment worthwhile. I stayed as long as I could before having to step away midway through the day. Over the next few days, I’ll be sharing some of my favorite moments from this wonderful event — and I’m already looking forward to capturing it again next year.
