🎶 Working 9 to 5… Falcon style! 🦅💛

In celebration of the not-yet-official Dolly Parton Day on 9/25, our admin team — along with a very special visit from “Dolly” herself — celebrated teachers with excellent attendance! 🤠✨

Day after day, our teachers show up ready to educate, encourage, and support our young Falcons. Today was a fun opportunity to recognize those who have demonstrated outstanding attendance while putting in that 9 to 5 work to help our students learn and grow!

Thank you to our dedicated teachers for all you do — Dolly would be proud! 🎶💛
Special thank you to our partner,
Antwon Wade of Smoothie King for sharing delicious Protein Packs with faculty and staff!❤️

📚💻 There’s always something happening in the Learning Commons! 🦅

The Commons is more than a place to check out a good book! Throughout the day, our Falcons use this flexible space to read, research, collaborate, create, study, and connect.

Whether students are visiting with a class, working independently, finding their next great read, or simply using a space designed for learning, the Commons is here to support them in all the different ways learning happens.

We love seeing our Falcons make this space their own! 💛📚

☀️ Nothing like a little sunshine to get the brain moving! 🧠🦅

Mrs. Henry and Ms. Simon took learning outside and got their students moving with a fun social studies review game! As music played, students passed a ball around the group. When the music stopped, whoever was holding the ball had to put their knowledge to the test by answering a question about topics they’ve been learning in class.

Fresh air, movement, music, and learning made for a fun and engaging way to review important social studies concepts. We love seeing our Falcons learning beyond the classroom walls! 📚☀️

💛 Today, Belair recognized 988 Day! 💛

September 8 is 988 Day, a day dedicated to raising awareness of the 988 Su***de & Crisis Lifeline and reminding everyone that mental health support is available when it’s needed.

Our Falcons marked the day by filling the concrete around our pavilions with colorful chalk messages of kindness, encouragement, hope, and support. Students shared positive words with one another as a simple but powerful reminder that everyone deserves to feel valued, cared for, and supported.

At Belair, we want our students to know that they are part of a community that cares about them and that reaching out for help is always okay. 💛
