Last month, I took the family up to Lake Pillsbury, CA, for a perfect day of backcountry flying. The wind was right down the strip, conditions were amazing, and we saw more **Tule Elk** than I could count roaming the shores and meadows.

We're now booking lessons:
- **Cessna 182**: March–May (great for building mountain and backcountry skills)
- **Supercub**: April–May (ideal for tailwheel, off-airport, and specialty training)

We offer flexible options for brand-new pilots and experienced flyers looking to sharpen mountain, off-airport, or other specialty skills.

RAF AWARDS GRANT FOR CONTINUED SUPPORT OF HCRC Oregon RAF Liaison Bill Ables has been awarded a $5,000 RAF grant to retain RAF membership in and support the Hells Canyon Recreation Collaborative (HCRC) for the next five years.
