Our fifth grade students brought history to life with an Ellis Island simulation right here on campus!

After preparing their passports, students experienced the journey of immigrants as they made their way through registration, legal, and medical stations, all hoping for the opportunity to enter the United States. To wrap up the experience, students wrote postcards home sharing the news of their acceptance or deportation!

Dear Lee-Scott Families,

Due to the uncertainty surrounding Hurricane Isaias and the adjustments made to today's football schedule, Lee-Scott Academy has decided to move Senior Recognition Night to Friday, October 16. Today’s football game against Westminster Christian will still kickoff at 3pm at Jud Scott Field

We understand that this change may create some inconvenience for our seniors and their families, and we appreciate your flexibility. Our goal is to provide a meaningful and memorable experience for every senior being recognized.

We also recognize that October 16 is Homecoming. Our administration and event coordinators are working together to develop a schedule that allows Senior Recognition, Homecoming Court, and the special senior band performance to each have their own time in the spotlight. We are committed to making sure that each of these special traditions receives the recognition it deserves.

We appreciate your understanding and look forward to an evening of celebrating our students and the many ways they contribute to Lee-Scott Academy. A detailed schedule will be shared as soon as arrangements are finalized.

Lower School Families, we are excited to announce the start of Warrior Hearts Club!

Warrior Hearts is creating opportunities for Lee-Scott families to step outside our everyday bubbles and serve those right here in our local community. Through intentional service projects, our hope is to expose our children to the needs around them while teaching them to lead with compassion, kindness, and a heart for others.

Our first opportunity to serve is coming up October 28 at Summer Village Assisted Living! After school, our Warriors will dress up, trick-or-treat, and most importantly, bring some joy to the sweet residents who call Summer Village home. Their director shared that this is something the residents look forward to each year, and they are so excited to welcome our Warriors!

We would love for more Lee-Scott families to join us as we live out what it means to have a Warrior Heart and make a difference in the community around us. There will be a sign up form coming home with your students today!

Ms. Lilli Scott Parker, 12th Grade Representative

Lilli Scott Parker is the daughter of Chris and Christie Parker. She has been a member of Lee-Scott since the second grade. In her free time, she enjoys watching movies, doing her devotional, and going out with her friends. She has been on the Varsity Dance team for 4 years and has had leadership roles as chaplain, co-captain, and captain. She enjoys dancing at football games and getting to go to UDA camp at Auburn University.

Lilli is a member of the National Athletic Honor Society and also enjoys serving in Beta Club and as an Ambassador alongside all of her friends!

Lilli Scott’s favorite Bible verse is Jeremiah 29:11: "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future."

A fall tradition in AP European History at LSA! 🎃

Each year, students bring history to life by transforming pumpkins into famous figures from early European history. From kings and queens to religious leaders and influential thinkers, students use their creativity to recreate the people they have studied in class.

It’s a fun way to celebrate the season while showing off their knowledge of European history. We love seeing history come to life, one pumpkin at a time!

Our football, cheer, and dance seniors took time today to celebrate the teachers who have been part of their Lee-Scott journey. Each senior selected an educator to honor on their jersey as a special way to recognize the encouragement, guidance, and investment they’ve received throughout their years at Lee-Scott.

Thank you to the teachers who continue to shape, encourage, and inspire our Warriors every day!
