I Know What It Feels Like to Lose Yourself in Survival Mode Without Realizing the Abuse
I know what it feels like to question yourself after narcissistic abuse.
To replay conversations.
To wonder if I was imagining things.
To question my judgment, my intuition, and even my own memories.
I know what it feels like to love someone and simultaneously know that the relationship is hurting me.
And I know how confusing it can be when the relationship ends, but the survival response doesn't.
For me, healing wasn't simply about walking away from the relationship.
It was about understanding what the experience had done to my relationship with myself.
I Had to Understand Survival Mode
When I lived through emotional manipulation, inconsistency, betrayal, and the constant uncertainty of not knowing what version of someone I was going to encounter, I learned to stay alert.
I became more aware of other people's moods than my own needs.
I questioned what I was feeling.
I looked for signs.
I overthought conversations.
I tried to understand behavior that didn't make sense.
And somewhere along the way, I realized something important:
I wasn't just trying to understand the other person. I was trying to feel safe.
That realization changed the way I looked at my healing.
I began to understand that survival mode can influence how we think, respond, communicate, make decisions, establish boundaries, and even interpret our intuition.
Then I Began Understanding Betrayal Trauma
One of the hardest parts of my healing was recognizing the impact of betrayal.
When the person who hurts you is also someone you loved, trusted, or believed you could depend on, your mind and heart can struggle to reconcile the two realities.
"I loved this person."
and
"This person hurt me."
Both can be true.
For a long time, I believed I needed answers from the other person in order to move forward.
Eventually, I realized that my healing couldn't depend on someone else acknowledging what happened.
I had to begin rebuilding the relationship I had with myself.
I had to learn to trust my own observations.
Honor my feelings.
Listen to my intuition.
Recognize my patterns.
Strengthen my boundaries.
And most importantly, stop abandoning myself in order to maintain relationships.
This Is Why I Help Other Women
My experience became more than something I survived.
It became part of the foundation for the work I now do with women who are trying to find themselves again after abusive or unhealthy relationships.
I understand the difference between knowing something intellectually and actually being able to feel safe enough within yourself to act on that knowing.
That distinction matters.
Because someone can tell you:
"Set a boundary."
But if you've spent years learning that boundaries create conflict, rejection, abandonment, or punishment, setting one can feel incredibly difficult.
Someone can tell you:
"Trust your intuition."
But if you've spent years questioning yourself, fear and intuition can become difficult to distinguish.
That's where my work begins.
From Survival Mode to Self-Trust
Through my trauma-informed spiritual life coaching approach and the Guidance Method™, I help women begin recognizing the patterns that keep them operating from survival and reconnecting with their own internal guidance.
Together, we explore the difference between:
✨ Fear and intuition
✨ Hypervigilance and discernment
✨ People-pleasing and compassion
✨ Control and healthy boundaries
✨ Attachment and genuine connection
✨ Survival and authentic self-expression
My goal isn't to teach women to become suspicious of everyone.
It's to help them become more connected to themselves.
Because healing isn't just about recognizing the narcissist.
It's about recognizing yourself again.
The woman underneath the fear.
The woman underneath the overthinking.
The woman underneath the people-pleasing.
The woman who learned to survive—but is now ready to learn how to live differently.
I Help Women Reclaim What Survival Mode Took From Them
I help women move from:
"Can I trust them?"
to
"Can I trust myself?"
From:
"Why did they do this to me?"
to
"What do I need to heal?"
From:
"How do I keep this relationship?"
to
"How do I stop abandoning myself to keep one?"
And from:
surviving the relationship
to
reclaiming the woman I was always meant to be.
That is the heart of my work.
I don't help women become who they were before the experience.
I help them become more deeply connected to who they are now.
