Horse U at Auburn University

🐴Hey, Horse U participants! Are you involved in 4-H and looking for more horse-related activities this summer?

🍀Alabama 4-H has two great events on the horizon, starting with the Alabama 4-H State Horse Show on May 16 & 17 in Montgomery! Registration for the state show closes this Friday in 4HOnline for 4-H Members.

✏️Next up are the Horse Judging, Hippology, and Record Book contests on May 29 in Auburn at the Equestrian Center & Upchurch Hall. 4-H Member registration closes in 4HOnline on May 18. This event will also serve as the state contest for FFA Horse Evaluation.

We are grateful to our sponsors, volunteers, participants, and the undergraduate students whose hard work and passion made this event an outstanding success. Kids had a blast learning all about horses through hands-on educational stations and even enjoyed some time in the saddle.

We're putting the last touches on Horse U 2025. Our undergraduate students have been working hard to make tomorrow a fun, interactive and informative day all about horses!

Parents: Drop off will begin at 8:00 a.m. and go until 8:30. Use the carline in front of the Creel Building to drop off your child. Staff will es**rt them to the covered arena for a name tag, bag, and hat. If you prefer to walk your child, park in the gravel lot on the right. Please do not walk through the barn.

The educational stations will be concluding around 2:30 p.m. with group awards at 2:45. You are welcome to start arriving at 2:00 p.m. and make your way to the covered arena.

Don't forget! Equestrian Fan Gear will be set up with Auburn Equestrian gear and gifts for sale from 2:00-3:00 p.m.!
