I’m not very good at goodbyes but today I have to say goodbye to my second home of many years...I’m also saying goodbye to my coworkers who have been like family to me!

I am sad to announce that my home of over 16 years, Salon Bellissima, is closing their doors.
This is a perfect example of “when one door closes (literally) another one opens!” As of the first week in March I will be working at The Meridian Salon in Kent with Lisa Malek! I am very excited about being a part of this beautiful salon.

New decade, new things ahead... I am sad to announce that my home of twenty years, Salon Bellissima, is closing their doors. I started working there as a receptionist until I decided to go back to school for my cosmetology license six years ago. I grew to love the artistry of doing hair, but more so, the relationships I built with my clientele.
I am excited to announce I will be moving to The Meridian Salon in Kent to begin the next part of my hair journey.
Thank you for your support and confidence in me!

2019 has been a year of change and difficult decisions for me. Years ago, Lisa said “it takes a village...” and she was SO right! My village resides at Salon Bellissima, not only with my team but with all of my clients...who I gain wisdom from every day.
Gayle, Katie, Karen, Leah, Kathy and Jayme were not able to be in our photo but are all very much part of my “village!”

It takes a lot of courage to move away from the direction you’ve been going with your hair color and try something that is out of your comfort zone! There are many reasons to make this change but I’ve found most often it’s to save the integrity of the hair!
Not only was this a huge hair color change for Thea but a salon change as well...
So glad I had this opportunity!

We started the “wedding hair” process early for Katie, she took the maid of honor position very seriously!
But that is about ALL she took seriously-we had such a fun time perfecting the “blush pink” in her hair, through trial and error😳and a lot of laughter! I would say we perfected it just in time for the wedding and ordered some extensions to enhance the entire look...

For the past few months I have been helping Jade get ready for her wedding by taking her from a yellow-gold blonde to more of a platinum. On her last appointment we ran out of time for styling (the Olaplex Treatment was more important!)
But she sent me this selfie so I could see it dry!
