REMINDER: School starts 4 hours late for grades 7, 8, 10, 11 & 12 on September 3. The late start allows 6th & 9th grade students extra time in their new building.

6th grade starts at 7:40 a.m.
7th & 8th starts at 11:40 a.m.

9th grade starts at 8:10 a.m. (West Auburn @7:55 a.m.)
10th, 11th & 12th starts at 12:10 p.m. (West Auburn @11:55 a.m.)

Buses will run on the normal schedule in the morning and again for the upper grades, 4 hours later.

See you on Wednesday!

No need to buy school supplies! The ASD provides all required school supplies for all students. Supplies are distributed in the fall at each school.

Join us for the Community Grand Opening of Chinook Elementary, at 5:30 p.m., October 19, 3502 Auburn Way S. We will have a ribbon-cutting ceremony and tours of the beautiful new school!

For the 22-23 school year, every Monday will be a one-hour late start. Every school will start one hour later than the normal start time and buses will arrive one hour later than normal on Mondays.

In the past, only certain Mondays were late start, but effective September 12, late start is every Monday.

Also, there are no more waiver days in the school calendar. Students will attend three additional days of school starting this year to meet the state-required 180 days of attendance.

(November 21 will NOT be a late start Monday.)
