🛠️Systems, tools,& community Most gifted educators seek collaboration and resources to elevate their teaching and reignite their passion – I'm here to simplify this journey, offering

the support and coaching to enhance your impact, save time, and bring joy and confidence back to your classroom. Background: Founded by an experienced educator in gifted education, Gifted Ed Solutions addresses the lack of support and resources for teachers in smaller districts, particularly those who are the sole gifted personnel or general educators with gifted students in their classes. This free online community hopes to unite rural gifted teachers and provide a collaborative community, especially for those who have no other gifted personnel in their building or district. Support: Offering abundant resources and a welcoming community to gifted educators. Collaboration: Fostering a collaborative environment for shared learning and growth. Streamline Systems for Sustainability: Using technology to make teaching more sustainable and enjoyable.

Free resource alert. 🎁

I made two editable resources to go with my new test prep blog post.

One is a student-facing Brain Warm-Up worksheet — so your gifted kids can practice each of the four strategies before testing season hits.

One is a teacher guide with worked TCAP examples across math, ELA, science, and social studies.

Both free. Both editable. Grab them here:

The New Blog Post is Up! Gifted Students Deserve More Than Brain-Drain Test Prep!

If you've spent all year teaching your gifted kids to think deeply, don't stop at the "right" answer, just to find them faced with doing the opposite for test prep season - this one is for you!

Test prep doesn't have to be brain-drain season.
I just published four strategies to keep your gifted students actually thinking during test prep. I make it matter to them and give them "cheat codes" for test taking.

Grab my two free resources inside the post. You Can Read it here: https://giftededsolutions.com/blogs/b/testprepbraindrain

🥧 Every year, gifted teachers across the country gather their students, pull out Sir Cumference, and eat an embarrassing amount of pie in the name of enrichment. 😊

You planned the lesson, found the connection to math concepts, and kept 5 different grade levels engaged simultaneously, all while traveling between three buildings.

If anyone deserves a second slice, it's you. 🍕➡️🥧

Happy Pi Day to the solo coordinators doing the most with the least. 💙

Testing season is here... Enrichment gets pushed. Schedules get scrambled. And gifted students get extra worksheets and classes filled with question after question from practice tests. 😶😶

You can't control the schedule, but you can control what is ready when they finish early or when teachers realize gifted kids need something different.

Your time belongs to students. Somewhere along the way, asks like that paperwork have taken over our time.

That's why I care so much about templates and systems. They help reclaim our time.
Paperwork, service logs, meeting notes, and emails are necessary, but many of those tasks can be simplified, repeated, and set once.

Join our Rural Gifted Network to learn how to reclaim your time .

In the immortal words of Leslie Knope, today is about ladies celebrating ladies. And if anyone deserves a waffle-filled shoutout, it’s YOU.
You’re building bridges where none existed. You're creating enrichment on a shoestring budget. You’re the only one in the building who gets it, and yet, you keep showing up.
GES Rural Gifted Network is for teachers like you. For the “Leslie Knopes" of districts, spinning 87 plates but still supporting students & others! 💝 Happy Galentine's Day!

Weekends shouldn't be spent hunting for enrichment activities or finding materials to supplement your lesson.

Differentiation fatigue is real, but it doesn't have to be a permanent state.

Here is the gifted lesson planner I use: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1YcjUYZ2wwijoZDzdWOflLPLUDnXrolb3K4nOS3CFCDA/copy

Add all of the gifted lessons you've created or used to one central hub. My Hub has gifted tools, lessons, templates, and more. Use my template to create your own. Check out my Gifted Tool and Hub Template here:

Make it your own. Add your favorite resources, tools, and more. Star it, flag it, whatever you need to do, but make it easily accessible.

Rural Gifted Teachers are doing a Multi-person Job as a One-Person Team.

In small districts, you 𝘢𝘳𝘦 the program. Everything falls on you. And everything else often overshadows actual teaching.

That creates a burnout problem. Not a “try harder” problem. It’s a systems & support problem.

That’s why I’m have my free membership, The Rural Gifted Network.
Inside you'll find systems & support to have more time to actually teach.
