Testing Tips:
1. Arrive to school on time, between 7:45 - 8:15
2. Have a good attitude.
3. Get a good night's sleep.
4. Encourage students to eat breakfast.

We’re excited to invite you to Norton Elementary Skate Night at Sparkles Family Fun Center (1104 Grayson Highway, Lawrenceville) on Thursday, April 16th, from 5:30 pm–7:30 pm.

Come join us for an evening of fun, laughter, and community as we skate with friends! This is a wonderful opportunity for students, families, and staff to celebrate the season, enjoy time together, make lasting memories, and cheer on our 3rd, 4th, and 5th-grade students before they begin taking the Georgia Milestone.

Get ready for a night of music, games, and family fun. We can’t wait to see you there!

It's almost time for Field Day where students will be playing fun field day games, line dancing, and more!

Schedule:
March 30th:
-Pre-K 9:00 am - 11:00 am
-Kindergarten 9:00 am - 11:00 am
-1st Grade 9:00 am - 11:00 am
-2nd Grade 11:45 am - 1:45 pm
-3rd Grade 11:45 am - 1:45 pm

March 31st
4th Grade 9:00 am - 1:45 pm
5th Grade 9:00 am - 1:45 pm

Volunteers:
All are welcomed to attend field day. If you are visiting, you will need to visit the front office for a guest pass. We will need 2-3 Volunteers per class. Be sure to email your child's teacher to confirm your volunteer spot!

Water:
We are asking that one parent from each classroom purchase 1 case of water for their child's class. Please email your child's teacher if you'd like to donate.

Field Day T-Shirts
For those who purchased Field Day T-Shirts, shirts will be given to teachers a week before field day. Students are welcome to wear a shirt that matches their class color if they did not purchase a shirt

Last week, our 5th grade students and teachers visited Snellville Middle School! They went on a tour, met some key staff members, and learned about what they can expect in middle school. We are super excited they had this opportunity! Thanks to Snellville Middle School for hosting!

Hello, families! This is a reminder that our school will be hosting Family Bingo Night on March 17th from 5:30–6:30 PM!

Join us for an exciting evening filled with laughter, prizes, and a festive St. Patrick’s Day twist. Families will receive a Lucky Adventure Card with fun mini‑missions—like finding hidden clovers, taking photos in our Lucky Booth, and completing quick challenges during bingo rounds. Each completed challenge earns a sticker, and every sticker becomes an entry into our raffle drawing at the end of the night.

It’s a great chance to connect with other families, cheer each other on, and make wonderful memories together.

We hope you’ll join us for this magical evening of Bingo and family fun!

Hello Norton Families,

Our school year is speeding by! Can you believe that there are only approximately 2 months left in school??!! With that being said, you would be remiss if you do not join us for the last Chick-fil-A Spirit Night of the school year. If you were able to join us for any of our Chick-fil-A Spirit Nights, you know that a GREAT time was had by all! Students were excited to see their teachers and administrators outside of the school setting, and they were able to have a delicious dinner with friends. Additionally, students enjoyed fun times in the play area inside the restaurant. Parents and other family members were able to enjoy conversations and camaraderie with each other and with Norton staff members.

We are pleased to let you know that you will have one final opportunity to come out and support us at the last Chick-fil-A Spirit Night of the 2025-2026 school year! This momentous event will take place on Monday, March 16th, from 5-8 p.m. at Chick-fil-A on Centerville Highway. This will be especially fun for our 5th grade students who want to create lasting memories of their time at NES. Even if you are only able to place an order to go while in the drive-thru or for pick-up through your mobile app, you can still support our school by simply clicking "Yes" on the question that asks if you want to support Beta Club Norton ES (see example photo) or letting the drive-thru attendant know that you are supporting the Norton Spirit Night. There is no charge for agreeing to support NES.

Remember, the class that has the highest attendance will receive a popsicle party! If you are not able to attend, please send a friend or family member to support, andtell them to check in with a Beta Club member to let them know whose class they are representing. Everyone counts!
