Phi Kappa Psi - Georgia Tech

We are very excited to announce our Classroom Sponsorship with the Atlanta Children’s Shelter. We are sponsoring two classrooms: a toddler classroom and a kindergarten classroom for low income/unhoused families as well as two community support programs. We need help we can get in getting help purchasing all of the supplies, so I encourage all to ask help from friends and family.

Have you heard about the October 8th Homecoming Tailgate on the 5th St Bridge at 12PM, that was sponsored by Tom Cordner? Well, we definitely have! One of our amazing alumni graced the chapter with an amazing tailgate spread in honor of his birthday. At the end of the day, we took the win at the game, but we won the true prize of brotherly love. Happy belated birthday Brother Cordner!

“The great joy of serving others.” What does that mean to you? To our brothers, it means taking care of our community and doing our part to make Atlanta a cleaner, safer, and more accessible place. That’s why we partnered with Hands On Atlanta for “Operation Clean Sweep” as our first Service Event of the year to clean up some of the streets around Southside Medical Center. We had an amazing time serving our community and at the end of the day, Bret, Josh, and Jason had a great time serving and hosting Grill Night at the house! Helping your community starts at home!

🎉Parents Weekend 2022 🎉

We’re glad to have so many parents come back to campus and come out to tailgate! We might have lost the football game, but Strudel won our hearts 🐕

This weekend, we welcomed two new brothers to our Fraternity: Joshua Bruner and Parth Garud! The two new brothers started their journey to joining the fraternity at the start of this year and have successfully completed the New Member process to become full brothers. A special shoutout to our New Member Educator, Trent Johnson, for being an amazing teacher and guide for our newest brothers.

To foster brotherly connections, we embarked on a journey up Red Top Mountain and spent the weekend strengthening the brotherly bonds between us.

Finally, thank you to all the brothers and alumni who came out to support the New Member process and welcome them to our Fraternity!

Over the weekend the brothers of Phi Psi channeled and challenged their inner chefs in a cook off. After many delicious dishes (feta pasta, miso cod, andouille sausage and veggies, and a classic steak and potatoes), the winner of this semester’s cooking competition was Matthew Ellett with his beautifully marinated steak. 🧑‍🍳

“When I first came out to rush, my only experience with fraternities was what I saw in movies. I thought all fraternities were big and loud party houses. So I was surprised to meet the brothers at Phi Psi and learn that they were in a fraternity not simply to party but rather to grow and develop together through college as friends and brothers. This aspect of Phi Psi appealed a lot to me and convinced me to join.”
