Something to think about.

Two boys with the same disability tried to get help. The rich student got it quickly. The poor student did not. Two boys with learning disabilities grew up just blocks apart in New York City. Public schools couldn't teach them. So their parents battled to place them in private schools, on the taxpayers' dime.

So, 15% of the planet has a diagnosed “disability”. I wonder how many of us are undiagnosed because of the stigma attached…
Maybe we should embrace everyone for his or her special-ness?

Schools can not do this, nor should they. The question should always be, "What is best for the child?" not "What is easiest or most convenient for the school or system?"
