PRESS RELEASE: Great news! Dr. Jo Chitlik of Emory University's Center for the Study of Law and Religion is thrilled to announce a new Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Global Learning Online (GLO) and Abdul Wali Khan University (AWKU) in Pakistan.
This exciting academic collaboration, finalized on July 7, 2025, will expand knowledge of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) in Pakistan's Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Province and document its rich history through joint research.
"We are honored to work alongside our Pakistani counterparts," said Dr. Chitlik. "Our goal is to contribute to higher education in Pakistan and share its unique ADR history with the global legal community."
Special thanks to The Honorable Senator Zeeshan Khanzada, AWKU Vice Chancellor Dr. Jamil Ahmed, and Dr. Muhammad Zubair for their invaluable support.
This MOU builds on the U.S. Department of State's 2024 Fulbright ADR Pilot Program for Pakistan.
A huge thank you to MIUC and its brilliant law students for hosting me on their podcast during my last trip to Pakistan.
