Say hey to one of our newest Wood Wizards: Scottie, 12.🔥This rising 7th-grader already stays busy as a mountain biker, softball player, and basketball standout. Now she’s adding “builder” to her growing list of talents.

On Day 1 at the workshop, Scottie jumped right into creating one of the coolest wooden radios we’ve seen lately, a handcrafted, sound-amplifying piece where her parents can drop in their iPhones and let the music roll. 🎶

Along the way, she learned how to use sanders, saws, clamps, and drills safely. And honestly, she didn’t want to stop building.🥹That’s the magic behind our Weekend Club experiences. Confidence grows fast when kids realize they’re capable of producing something functional with their own two hands.

Meet Wood Wizard Lucas. A rising third-grader, this creative kid is hooked to our Weekend Clubs. Parents: If your child loves to build and use their imaginations, workshop experiences at our brand-new Atlanta warehouse location (515 Ralph David Abernathy) is a must.

Our weekend clubs instantly introduce kids to hands-on science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics (STEAM) while having fun building confidence, problem-solving, communications, teamwork, and career-ready thinking early.

We’re excited to share some big news — Wood Wizards Atlanta has officially moved to our new home at 515 Ralph David Abernathy Blvd!

This move is a huge milestone for us, and we couldn’t have gotten here without your incredible support. From weekend workshops to school programs, special events, and birthday builds, you’ve helped us grow into something truly special. We are so grateful for the amazing community we’ve built together, and we want to sincerely thank each and every one of you for being part of this journey.

What makes this new space even more exciting is its history. This building has deep roots in woodworking and craftsmanship dating all the way back to the 1880's. For generations, this space has been a place where things were built by hand, skills were passed down, and creativity came to life. It's the perfect next chapter for Wood Wizards Atlanta to continue that tradition with the next generation of builders.

To celebrate our opening weekend, we’ll be at the new shop this Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM, and we’d love for your family to stop by!

You can drop your kids off for a 2-hour woodworking class anytime that works best for you during those hours or just pop-in to say hello and take a quick tour of this historic building. We'll have snacks and refreshments.

Opening Weekend Pricing:

• 4-Pack Special: $200
• Want to stay longer? This weekend only, additional time is just $20/hour
