Hey everybody! A couple of updates:

1-There are a few of us having trouble with Zelle. Our email address and bank account ARE registered with Zelle, and have received payments from lots of people. If you get a message on your end that we are not registered, please call your bank. As I understand, since we are a new Zelle account, some banks do not want to recognize us. It is a long email address, so please check for typos.

2-Our hotel room booking code is now available with Hilton. Please see instructions below:

Your guests have two options in confirming their room;

-They may call the hotel directly at (678) 827-8400 and reference “McIntosh HS Class of 1986 Room Block” or…
-They may visit www.atlantapeachtreecity.hgi.com
and use the group booking code “908" to make reservations.

As a reminder, all rooms must be confirmed by the cut-off date of October 8th; after the cut-off date your group block will be closed and any remaining rooms will be released into general inventory and sold at the standard rate.

McIntosh Class of 1986… it is time to commit to the reunion. Instructions for payment are at the bottom of this post.

- Date: Saturday October 10th, 2026
- Time: 7:00 PM to 10:30
- Location: Hilton Garden Inn Peachtree City, 2010 North Commerce Drive 30269
- Cost: $100 per person
- What’s provided:
- Two hour open pour of beer and wine (full cash bar available in lobby)
- Heavy hors devours
- Eclectically curated music including bootlegged recordings of the Sugar Hill Gang free-styling in Hardy’s parking lot
- Where to stay: Stay at the hotel… limited availability, but room block price is $139 (without fees/taxes). Call to get the rate: 678-827-8400

Note that the night before is MHS Homecoming. We plan on arranging a loosely organized event for those who want to meet up at the game.

Based on past years, we are expecting 120 alumni, but our break-even is 100 guests. Therefore it will be very important to RSVP and pre-pay as quickly as possible.

Get out out your acid-washed jeans, your Members Only jackets, and your leg warmers… it is time for the McIntosh High School Class of 1986 40th Reunion!

- Date: Saturday October 10th, 2026 (precise time TBD)

- Where to stay: Stay at the hotel or Emmanuel’s house… room block for both to be published shortly

If you are going to the MHS Homecoming football game tonight look for the blue "86" feather banners in the stands. The space between and in front of the banners is reserved for McIntosh Class of 1986 Alumni! Game starts at 7! See you there!!!!!
