If you are going to the MHS Homecoming football game tonight look for the blue "86" feather banners in the stands. The space between and in front of the banners is reserved for McIntosh Class of 1986 Alumni! Game starts at 7! See you there!!!!!

The date and location for the MHS Class of 1986 Reunion has now been set. The reunion will held Saturday October 8th, 2016 at the Hilton Garden Inn in Peachtree City. At this time, we are still not soliciting ticket information or RSVP's. We are building out an outreach plan and finalizing the tools we will use to collect money for tickets. Expect to hear more on this in the spring time frame. Please, share the news of the date/location with fellow alumni by sharing this post on FB and Twitter.

We were hoping to post our save the date announcement on New Year's Day, but we are going to have to postpone the announcement until no later than January 31st. We had intended to research and pick the location over the holidays, but it turned out that the holidays were busier that we expected. This was true not only on our side, but also on the side of the event locations we are researching. We will have the date and location figured out by the end of the month, and then some time later we will begin the process of selling the tickets and working to make sure that every single alumni is at least aware of the event. I apologize for any inconvenience the delay may have caused.

This is the official page for the McIntosh High School Class of '86 reunion. Our 30th reunion will take place some time next year (2016). On January 1st of 2016, we will post a save the date notification for the reunion. More information on the location and ticket prices will also be announced at that time. We are currently researching several locations, all in the Peachtree City area. We will do our best to balance maximizing attendance with minimizing venue cost in choosing the time and specific location.

This page serves two primary purposes. The first is to drive early and broad awareness for the reunion. Our goal is 100% awareness and 50% plus alumni attendance. We will be implementing some initiatives to this end early in 2016, all of which we will be shared and managed centrally from this page.

The second objective is to collect suggestions, feedback, offers to help., and -- importantly - vintage photos for the reunion slide show. You can provide the feedback and photos via either direct message or posts to this page. Note that we have configured the page settings to approve posts as we are trying to keep information related to the event logistics as clean as possible to avoid confusion.

Finally, we are not checking and updating this page on a regular cadence, so please be patient with us. As the reunion date approaches, we will be very disciplined about responses and updates, but for now, our primary focus is getting out the word.
