There's real science behind why wanting to be loved by others can pull so hard on you, and why a steady inner foundation matters so much.

In a landmark study published in Science, researchers Naomi Eisenberger, Matthew Lieberman, and Kipling Williams scanned people's minds during a virtual ball game in which they were suddenly excluded. The anterior cingulate cortex, a region involved in the distress of physical pain, lit up in response to being left out, and the stronger the participants' hurt, the stronger the response. Rejection registers in the body with a force similar to physical pain. 🌊

That helps explain why craving approval can feel so urgent. Your mind treats being left out as something to avoid at almost any cost, and when your sense of worth depends on other people's acceptance, that pain can start steering your choices.

The same study found something hopeful. Activity in the right ventral prefrontal cortex, a region tied to regulation, was linked to reduced distress after exclusion. Your mind has a built-in capacity to soften that sting, and a steady relationship with yourself is one of the strongest ways to strengthen it.

Build your self-love enough that being loved by others feels like a gift instead of a requirement.

Be aware of those individuals who use shame to control you. How did this show up by your mom or dad when you were a child , how does that abuse show up in your adult life ? Now how are you going to heal from the past so you can live your authentic self?

Change always starts from within...

🌿"TRUE CHANGE STARTS FROM WITHIN"

How many times have you said that to yourself? I’ll be honest—I’ve said it many times too.
But over time, I’ve realized something crucial: sometimes, we don't need to change everything around us. We need to change ourselves first.
It’s a powerful chain reaction:
✨ Change your thoughts → Change your choices.
✨ Change your choices → Change your actions.
✨ Change your actions → Change your life.
🌱 True change starts from within. It begins the moment you decide you want more for yourself, and that you are capable of more.
You don’t have to change your entire life overnight. Just start with one small step:
✔️ Learn a new skill.
✔️ Break one old habit.
✔️ Let go of what no longer serves you.
✔️ Choose to be around people who inspire you.
📚 Keep learning. Keep growing. Don't be afraid to step out of your comfort zone. Not because you aren't enough, but because you deserve to become the best version of yourself.
If you want the world around you to change, start with the person in the mirror. Sometimes, changing just one thing—yourself—is exactly what shifts everything else. ❤️
