This scholar brought back more than memories from Disney World; he brought back lessons in responsibility, discipline, and smart decision-making. ✨🎶💰

Through the Dexter Mosley Act, he had the opportunity to play in the band at Disney World, and while enjoying the experience, he also learned the importance of managing his money wisely.

His words said it all:
“I managed my money, so I could buy my hat.” 👏🏾

Our scholars chose to play a game of Operation, but what looked like “just a game” quickly became a lesson in focus, teamwork, strategy, and problem-solving. At Legacy Learning Loft, we love creating spaces where curiosity can grow naturally.

Watching growth happen in real time is one of the most rewarding parts of what we do at Legacy Learning Loft. 💜

This scholar and his twin brother have made incredible progress this school year. They are now confidently taking weekly spelling tests and earning A’s consistently! Even more exciting, they have grown by two years in reading in just one school year. 📚👏🏾

Before taking his spelling test, he paused, became still, and focused his mind. That moment of confidence and self-regulation led to a perfect score… 💯

He passed his test with a 100!

We are beyond proud of the hard work, determination, and growth we continue to witness. These moments remind us that when scholars are supported, encouraged, and believed in, they thrive. 🌟
