Tutoring with Audrey

Emma gave us the best compliment: she said she had a great time… during ACT prep! 😂

Emma came to our summer ACT intensive (woo hoo—sign up now!) and also worked with Nicole, Derren, and me in 1:1 tutoring to raise her score tremendously.

As a result of all her hard work, she got into EVERY college she applied to—including UGA!! She’s headed to Middle Tennessee State University, where she’ll also be dancing in college! 💙

Fun fact: I’ve had the privilege of working with so many students from over the years. Keep ’em coming! 💛🎓

Josh increased his ACT score by 5 points after working 1:1 with Derren via Zoom! He said, “Derren was awesome. She helped me increase my score each time I took the test and also helped me learn for college as well!” I love that– the skills we teach for test prep are SO relevant for being prepared well for college!
Josh will be playing Division 1 football at East Tennessee State University while studying finance!

Congratulations to Will Mullins from Centennial High School!

Will is headed to Georgia Southern University and took our SAT class this fall. He said, “It was a great class and all the teachers were very helpful.” We love to hear that! 💛

We always try our best to communicate to students that we’re there for their continued success—we stay after class for questions and help throughout the week as well.

We loved having Will in class and wish him all the best in college! 🎓

Emily increased her SAT score all the way to a 1470 after group classes and 1:1 tutoring with us! She started with a prescore of 1250, then earned a 1330 after the class. Then, she raised it another 140 points through private tutoring with Derren!

Emily is headed to UGA—Go Dawgs! ❤️🖤She’s a hard worker, and UGA is lucky to have her.

Jack took our SAT group classes and will be heading to Clemson University to study pre-veterinary medicine with a focus on large animals! I’m excited that Jack found a school that is a great fit for him, and I know he has an exciting future ahead! So proud of you, !

Brynja took our group SAT classes and said, “It was totally worth it! I got my score up to a 1400, and it definitely helped with remembering grammar concepts and the funky math problems!” She also let me know she got a combined total of $500,000 total in scholarship offerings across colleges! Other fun facts: she is my neighbor, she is the third of her siblings to work with me and go on to UGA, and she will be in UGA’s Red Coat Band Flagline!!!

“Because of Tutoring with Audrey my ACT score went up a total of 11 points–I couldn’t have done it without Ms. Derren!” We are so proud of Sophia, who worked with Derren off and on through all of 2025 to maximize her score. She got into a ton of schools she applied for and landed on Auburn University to study nursing. Her hard work, determination, and genuine kindness will make her an incredible nurse! Derren got to know her so well that she even helped Sophia with her college essays, so Sophia's success is twice as sweet!

We went to see The Little Mermaid at Hebron, too! Asher loved it, and he got to meet all the characters afterwards. It was as great as being at Disney for him! The students were so sweet and talented!
